Need bulk firewood in NZ? New Grounds Energy supplies bulk kiln-dried wood offcuts straight from our Ōtorohanga sawmill. Untreated NZ pine, dried in our own kiln, delivered free across the Waikato in 5m³ or 8m³ loads.

Why bulk firewood is the right call

Bulk firewood is the most cost-effective format for households burning serious volume each winter. If you've got a covered woodshed or garage space and you're going to get through at least 5m³ over the season, buying in bulk is the most efficient way to do it.

If you've got less storage or just want the convenience of weekly delivery, our Wood Fire Pucks subscription is the alternative — same pine, compressed format, delivered every Monday.

How delivery works

Free local delivery across the Waikato — Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Ōtorohanga, and surrounding rural addresses. Bulk firewood orders are scheduled around your availability; usual turnaround is within a week of order.

Outside the Waikato? Get in touch — we can usually arrange a bulk delivery for orders of 5m³ or more.

Bulk firewood vs the puck subscription

Both products come from the same Ōtorohanga pine. The difference is format and delivery model.

Bulk firewood: traditional logs, big single delivery, needs storage. Lowest cost per cubic metre.

Puck subscription: compressed pine blocks, weekly delivery, fits in any space. Highest convenience.
