New Grounds Energy was born from a simple idea: waste not, want not.
Dom grew up in Otorohanga, where his family runs OTC Timber - known for its craftsmanship, innovation, and commitment to doing things the right way. As the mill grew, so did the offcuts. But instead of letting that material go to waste, Dom and his mate Ben saw opportunity.
They got to work transforming leftover timber into wood fire pucks - a smarter, more sustainable way to fuel homes and businesses.
We're on a mission to help New Zealand de-carbonise at scale - and we're actively looking for partners ready to reduce emissions in their industrial process.
